Hollow Fiber Cartridges
Fibercell hollow fiber bioreactors (HFBRs) deliver 10–100 times higher concentrations of secreted products while reducing apoptosis and shear stress, resulting in cleaner harvests with significantly lower levels of host cell proteins, DNA, and membrane fragments. With fiber geometry that mimics the mammalian capillary bed, HFBRs recreate in-vivo–like 3 dimensional tissue conditions for high-density cell growth and co-cultivation. Daily maintenance takes just 15 minutes, and since cell splitting is unnecessary, continuous culture production can be sustained for many months without concern for passage numbers.
Choose from Cartridge materials :
Polysulfone : Excellent cell culture performance. Better cell growth and higher fidelity of protein production. Works with any cell type that will attach to plastic or grow in suspension culture.
PVDF : Supports surface binding of protein matrices, antibodies, and cytokines, making it ideal for endothelial cell culture applications.
Cellulosic : Primarily designed for specialized applications in in-vitro toxicology rather than routine cell culture use.
