This is to inform that we at Department of Physics, Saurashtra University Rajkot are using the Thermal Analyzer STA PT-1600 for the last Nine years, without major problems. We have procured the equipment from LINSEIS GmbH, Germany through Indian Agent M/S SG Instruments Private Limited, New Delhi in the year 2009. We are using LINSEIS STA PT 1600 since 2009, which includes TGA and high temperature DSC. We have used the system extensively for various materials from different user groups and find the system giving very satisfactory data on our samples.
We have done measurements up to 1100 C for enthalpy in the DSC and the result are very repeatable and acceptable. The service and application support provided by SG Instruments Pvt Ltd Nes Delhi has been very satisfactory.

This is to confirm that we purchased a CHIP based DSC system from LINSEIS and the system was installed in November 2018. The system is very robust and extremely fast in measurement and provides excellent data on all samples.
We have run samples from different groups and find the system very useful for all purposes. The support provided by SG Insturments Pvt Ltd New Delhi has also been very helpful and we continue to use this system along with TGA coupled with FTIR as a central facility in the department.

Department of Atomic Energy has purchased a Thermal diffusivity Thermal conductivity measurement set up LFA-1000 and simultaneous measurement of Seebeck and Electrical resistivity. The Department has made good use of these equipments for high temperature measurement of thermal idffusity thermal conductivity Seebeck measurement and electrical resistivity. We have found that the instruments perform very well with reproducible result and the operating software is user friendly.
