Description
- Possibility to measure under
vacuum, inert, oxidized, reduced atmospheres
up to 1600°C. (Not possible with resistance
heating furnace).
- Measurements from -150 up
to 1600°C in one run (no need of exchanging
furnaces to cover the temperature range)
- Very fast heat up and cool
down speed
- Expansion of any type of
sample can be measured (susceptor)
- Possibility to measure either
with LVDT expansion principle, or with laser
expansion measurement principle
This special Quenching dilatometer
can be used for the determination of continuous
cooling / heat up CHT, CCT and isotherm TTT-
diagrams.
Features
- High Speed Quenching Dilatometer
(L78/RITA)
- As per ASTM A 1033 -04
- Induction or light furnace
- Expansion measurement with
LVDT (conventional) or Laser (highest resolution)
- Heating and cooling rate
100K/sec (standard configuration)
- controlled heating and cooling
rates
- Temperature -150 up to 1600°C
(different models)
- Maximum vacuum 10E-5mbar
- sample heats while the protection
tube remains cool
