Description
The DSC - PT100 cell was particularly
developed to ensure an optimum reproduction
of the base line. Furthermore emphasis was
put on a highest possible resolution. The
conception of the cell guarantees a high mechanical
and chemical resistance. The perfect isolation
in combination with the gas purge prevents
the emergence of ripe formation or freezing
up. These construction features of the cell
guarantee measurements under very pure gas
atmospheres. The use of mass flow controllers
assures the precise gas control.
With its wide temperature range
(from - 80 up to 400°C / standard), the
DSC - PT100 enjoys a wide field of applications,
especially when dealing with polymers and
plastics (characterization, quality-control)
as well as with organic and pharmaceutical
compounds (polymorphism, purity, thermal stability),
with inorganic substances (dehydration, transition,
decomposition), with metals (transition) …
from the raw or transformed materials.
